‘Burger King Baby’ Uses Facebook To Find Birth Mom. What Happened Was A Miracle

On September 15, 1986, workers heard cries from the bathroom at a Burger King in Allentown, Pennsylvania. They found an hours-old baby abandoned inside.

Twenty seven years later, the abandoned baby, Katheryn Deprill, posted a picture on Facebook, holding a sign that said “looking for my birth mother”. Last week, mother and daughter were reunited.

Deprill said her birth mother was raped while in another country. She was able to conceal her pregnancy from her parents, but knew that raising the baby was out of the question. So, she left the baby where someone could find and care for it.

The birth mother didn’t want to be identified, but both she and Katheryn are working on beginning a relationship.

Spread the joy of Katheryn’s happy reunion by sharing this post.
