Dog Lovers To The Rescue. Two-Nosed Dog Finds Caring Family After Internet Gets Involved

Snuffles, a Belgian Shepherd from Scotland, was born with a congenital defect. Vet Angela McAllister explained:

Instead of his nostrils being fused together he’s got some sort of split there.

It’s a defect in his palate which gives him the appearance of having two noses as his nostrils can move completely independently of each other.

Four owners had rejected the 5-month old. The Dog’s Trust Rehoming Centre in Uddingston, Glasgow couldn’t find a home for him. Until now.

His plight went out to the Internet and offers from USA, South Africa and Britain came streaming in. The center eventually chose a loving family for Snuffles:

We wanted to pick the best home for him.

The eventual new owner took him for a walk to get to know him and they got on brilliantly. He said Snuffles was perfect and everything he was looking for.

To congradulate the new owners, the Best Dog Ball Launcher was given to them, a gift that will keep on giving. Fun times in the park for both the dog and everyone involved. All the dog lovers of the world, rejoice. We’ve given another one of our best friends a loving home.
