Welcome another Asian child prodigy

/

Scientifically, it’s easier picking up a skill when you’re young. Just try learning Spanish in college now, you old fart. Yet, if your parents had airdropped you into the middle of Mexico at age 5, you could really impress all your Latino friends. Schema Magazine has a post on a South Korean, guitar picking prodigy named “The Great Santini”. Nah, his name is Sungha Jung. And he plays a mean guitar. Dude is only 11, but he’s got more talent in those little 11 year old fingers than I will ever have in my fat, pudgy digits.

Sungha has a page on Youtube of course. He’s got all his videos, which include a couple of original compositions. If an overly talented 11 year old doesn’t depress you enough, follow this link to Charice Pempengo. Watch this 4 foot wonder belt out “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston. After that, go console yourself with some ice cream, tubby. Too bad Youtube wasn’t around when I was a kid. Don’t be tricked. Spelling your name with SpaghettiO’s is indeed a talent.
