Suddenly, epic Chinese movies are everywhere. Red Cliff by John Wood, The Warlords and now, Genghis Khan’s biopic, Mongol. No doubt those periods of war in earlier Chinese times provide rich stories and great filmmaking. Everybody’s jumping on the bandwagon now.
