Se7en performed in LA, hundreds of fantasies fulfilled

/

Well, I’m kinda late on this one, but thanks to our reader Jamie for the heads up. As you might know, Se7en recently performed at Highlands to promote his new album. His whole set lasted three songs, but hey, it’s Se7en; I’m sure everybody was satisfied.

Dramabeans.com has a good write-up on the whole evening. Basically, if you imagine finger foods, that was it. A little Far East Movement and Three 6 Mafia with a sprinkling of Se7en. Mmm…finger foods. Sorry, I’m hungry.

I’m sure all the girls in the audience were stoked, but will he make it? That’s the question. On the one hand, the crowd is crazy for Se7en. But, then you hear a song like “Them Girls”. Go to his myspace page, check it out. I hate to say it, but it’s kinda weak. Generic beat with banal lyrics. I listened to the song and surprise, Se7en “likes them girls”. He only says it, oh, 30 times during the song. I don’t expect you to rap about North-South Korean relations, but please, I’ve heard more interesting rhymes from 3rd graders.
