Leah Dizon sings about vanilla
Dizon is a singer, actress and celebrity in Japan. She’s part Chinese, Filipino, French and 100% sexy. Unfortunately, what God gave her in looks, He took away in vocal talent. Dizon just released her newest single, “Vanilla”. In her video, she dances around and sings in a light, fluffy, emotionless voice. Advice: if you are a pretty celebrity, it does not automatically mean you can do other things in life. Like sing, dance or act.
Every celebrity uses their website to “talk” to fans. Usually, they get some poor intern to make up some message and pass it off as the celebrities’. From Leah’s website:

My Japanese is pretty rough. From what I gather, she’s obviously hyping the new single. She goes onto say that “I prance around in tight shorts, but none of you can get this booty. Stop looping my ass shakes in Windows Media Player, you perv”. And if you all see are circles and squares above, you need to become a little more worldly and install Asian fonts.

Hahah…I guess in the world of pop idolf, you can’t always have it all: good looks AND great musical talent. I know Japanese pop stars can sound pretty bad when singing live..but I recently saw clip of Leah Dizon’s kouhaku utagassen performance…Oh maaan, that’s was horrible. I was cringing…and wished I could pull her off the stage so she wouldn’t humiliate herself. The way she sings reminds me of when I’m hyperventilating and I don’t have enough air. Just because I’m a girl, I don’t automatically hate her. I do think she can be funny, she works hard in learning Japanese, she’s got a great bod, and so forth. But I still think her face (especially eyes) reminds me of those those troll dolls in the 90’s. Or some frightening doll come to life. Oh well…Japan loves her still.
