Jon Chu schools Miley Cyrus
The biggest online dance battle in the history of mankind. That’s the tagline for the most recent Youtube sensation from Jon Chu, director of Step Up 2: The Streets. The battle has its origins when Jon Chu and his buddy, Adam Sevani (Moose in Step Up 2), of the ACDC Dance Crew, challenged Miley Cyrus and Mandy Jiroux (M&M Cru) to a dance-off. Videos were tossed back and forth with bad intentions and Jon drew final blood with his most recent video.
The video may put the whole beef to rest. His crew throws down some amazing moves and choreography. You’ve also gotta love the celebs featured, including Lindsay Lohan and Adam Sandler. This whole dance battling is blowing up. Rain against Stephen Colbert, MTV’s “America’s Best Dance Crew”, the Korean group, Gambler, in the future Hype Nation movie…
I’m waiting for my own battle, the biggest online typing battle in the history of mankind. 100 words a minute and 98% accuracy. Just try and beat that. My secret? Paws, son. Paws is an animated cat that teaches typing. I believe they call it ’software’. Anyway, that cat took this young buck off the streets. At first, I was into my own ways. Illiteracy, that’s right, I done said it. Didn’t wanna listen to no one. Paws taught me different. Opened my eyes to another world. Eventually, I accepted his methods of two hands, five fingered typing.
Well, another typing school had beef with me. They were reppin’ the two fingered method. Challenged my master and school to a type-off. People, it was time to battle. Type battle that is.
The crowd was frenetic, shouting everywhere. The typing was fast and furious. Words and letters crescendoed to a peak. That’s when I pulled out master’s secret weapon. The shift key. Try that with the 2 fingered method. Needless to say, our school won and proved our superiority. I hoisted Paws in the air in victory. Except Paws freaked out and scratched me in the eyes. Whatevs. I was now battle champion. Of typing, but champion nonetheless. Dreams do come true.
