NY1.com celebrates Asian Heritage Week by profiling Korean hitmaker Jin Young Park (JYP). His latest sensation, Wonder Girls, hit the top of the Korean charts with “So Hot”. Beyond the Wonder Girls, JYP also has a couple of other proteges lined up.

The first girl is the 16-year-old girl called Min that I co-produced for Lil John,” said Park. The next artist is this 25-year-old R-and-B musician called J Lim that I’m co-producing. And there’s G-Soul, a 19-year-old soul singer that R. Kelly decided to work with.

Hopefully, Lil’ John doesn’t lead Min astray and offer her drinks from his pimp cup. I’m more concerned about G-Soul. “Working with” R. Kelly could just be a euphemism for “oh crap, R. Kelly is peeing on my head”.
