That Chinese song in the GE Commercial, who sings it?

Cao FangI was wondering that when watching this new GE commercial. What an interesting evolution in music that commercials now have similar impact to radio. Did some research and it turns out it’s a Chinese singer called Cao Fang and her nickname is “Icy”. Umm..okaay. Anyway, the song is called “In Summer”.

Check out her blog and another webpage. If you can read Chinese, you’ll find lots of useful information on her. From what I gather, she’s a universal blood donor with blood type O and she’s 163 cm. Whether or not she likes long walks on short beaches is unknown.

Glad to see an Asian artist get some exposure; although, the music is your typical mando-pop ballad. Nevertheless, check it out if interested.

Maybe they can play the masters who sit around stroking their beards and smoking opiate pipes, dispensing fortune cookie wisdom.
